Imagine a situation when your esxi host rebooted and came up but your running VM over the esxi didn't came up.
There is a customizable parameter in vcenter which can be used to manipulate this parameter and in this blog we will discuss that
.
In order to configure the auto startup feature you need to select the host from the vCenter and then go to Manage > Setting > Vm Startup/shutdown
Now in the right hand corner click on the edit button, A new page will open as below
Select the automatic start and stop virtual machine with the system button
and define the sequence of the startup of the VMs for the host as per the above screen shot.
